Man Arrested for Selling Drugs Online

Austin Police have arrested 27-year-old Adam Schmidt and charged him with delivery of a controlled substance. Police say Schmidt sold an undercover officer HGH and steroids after the officer contacted him through the website craigslist.com.

Police received an anonymous tip through their narcotics tip line that said some was selling steroids on Austin Craigslist.

According to the arrest affidavit, an undercover officer contacted Schmidt and arranged to purchase HGH. The officer then met Schmidt and purchased the HGH.

The officer continued to converse with Schmidt and agreed to purchase steroids from him. The two met in a parking lot off of Highway 290 where Schmidt sold the officer two vials of testosterone.

Schmidt was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance, which is a state jail felony.
